Over the past few years, cloud solutions have been growing in popularity, and they represent a major technology change. At Amadeus, we’ve launched a “curiosity program” to embark on our own cloud journey. Our goal is to gain efficiency and elasticity, data resiliency, access to latest technologies, and to offer better service to our customers. In this session, you will learn how the Vertica database for Amadeus’s corporate data warehouse has been moved to Microsoft Azure as one of the first steps of this program.
