Stephen Walkauskas
Director of Engineer, Vertica

Stephen Walkauskas is the Director of Engineering for Vertica, where he is proud to work with a talented group of engineers who solve complex technical challenges and enable users to extract valuable insights from data.

He joined Vertica when it was a small start-up, before the first version of the product had shipped. A Pittsburgh native, he established a development office in the Steel City where he has assembled an awesome engineering team. Nearly a decade before joining Vertica, Stephen began work as one of the very first employees at Endeca. During his eight-year span the company grew from a single digit to a triple digit number of employees. Stephen holds a B.S. in Physics from Boston College.
